In my opinion a parent should teach their kids about sex and sex acts not only through words but also example. This can be fun and bond the family too.

You let the child know. "This is for fun, one day when you get older you will find someone you like besides daddy/mommy/ etc."

When the child reaches teen years this will happen anyway.
