To traverse

To traverse: to travel across, to extend across. A person may traverse by travelling, but a bridge may also traverse a valley.

Let us not just transverse the years of our own lives, but serve as structural beams and cables making the bridge that spans over the chasm - from the hills of the noble, simple, but wild past to the hills of the just, rational, and perhaps in some ways nobler future. There may our descendants make their homes.

We cannot live forever, but the values and beliefs we set down may outlive us for a long time - perhaps even forever, if they be just and rational values that make for a positive impact on peoples' lives and prosperity.

In our lifetimes, we can build pieces of the bridge and dream of what lies on the other side. Perhaps between that work, some may happen across a small secluded grove on our side that gives just a tiny taste of what life on the other side might be like.

I get the sense you're already one of our best bridge-builders, AK47... keep up the good work, and pass the word along each chance you get.
