I've given up counting the number of "exclusives" who have a "former LGF clause" when it comes to their desires. And as far as those who really do lose interest; I'd say that the divorce and adultery rate among straights ( combined with the statistical preponderance of older-wife-dumped-for-younger-GF ) means that they aren't successfully following-through on the ideal of a lifelong romance. Nor are they sticking to their own age-range when it comes to re-partnering. They're simply going after jailbait as soon as they've tired of the one they promised a lifetime to, and as soon as the object of their desire is "legal." And back when people were more realistic about the value of a lifelong partner ( and about the changing nature of desire,) they used to start with girls its no longer legal to marry. Your great-great-grandparents were more likely to remain wedded for life, albeit starting at 14 or 15. Dante ![]() ![]() |
