Today I worked with a couple sixteen-year-old girls. I was trying to get them through some math homework which consisted of an entire sheet of "word problems" (much to their dismay). As we sat around the table I noticed one of the girls (Nancy) sniffing the air. I looked at her quizzically. "Something smells good," she said. "It's smells like man-smell." I rolled my eyes at the distraction and tried to get them refocused. I didn't smell anything, and I thought they were just trying to get out of doing their math. They wouldn't have it though, and continued to sniff around. "It smells like Axe," said the other girl. That was when I started to get a clue. It was a good thirty seconds before they noticed that the smell was coming from me. I don't normally wear Axe. It was just what was on sale last week at the grocery store. However, out of the teenagers in my life, Nancy is one of my favorites (she is also very cute for an AG). So, perhaps I will stick with it for a while... see where it takes me. ~The Captain~ |
