And that reminded me of HS math too, since the sin(x) function in spanish is called 'seno' (which translates as breast), and the greek letter normally used for it is theta (which in spanish sounds like teta, which means boob). I remember some teacher saying that it was too redundant. And that the sine can't be larger than one (there are some big sines, but never that much). And that he had a friend nicknamed pi/2 because she was the largest expression of the sine... etc etc |
