I feel like I should be getting old, too. Given my taste in music, style, and the general way I carry myself, I should feel about 50 years old. I look around today at the modern world. I see people my age and try to process the popular fads, music, TV, and reliance on cell phones (I don't own one and have never sent even one text message). I've never felt more alien in my life. Everywhere I go, I see beautiful things and I (foolishly) assume everyone else sees them, too. But they all walk with their heads down, hypnotized by a glowing little screen. It alsmost makes me ashamed to call myself part of this generation. /existencial crisis P.S. Do you like The Adverts by any chance?
