The problem we face is that all the sources for this article have a vested interest in exaggerating the extent and the harmfulness of whatever happened. They present their side of the story, and only their side, to a media that has no interest in questioning what they are told, and no interest in seeking out the other side of the story. In an age when even the most gentle, tender sexual contact, if it involves a minor, is characterized as "abuse" or "rape" often with a few words like "nightmare" or "horrible" thrown in for dramatic effect, I feel it is necessary to assume that every such story is at best misleading, and quite possibly blatantly false. zlurker ![]() |
