A new coworker began working in the company. She is pretty and young. Of course I don’t notice that because, you see, she’s married and that’s a big no-no for me. Well, guess what? She got a daughter. A 7yo LG. I couldn’t believe it. The woman looks so young to have such a grown child. This past weekend she brought her at work and that’s where I met her daughter. I asked her name and she told me and I gave her my hand and she did the same; everything in front of her mother. It has been a long time since I was in the company of a 7yo so I didn’t know what to do. Then I thought of something. I started playing with her tic-tac-toe. After that, she started to draw. Then I asked her if she wanted to make me a drawing. She said yes and after she finished it I told her if she could write: From [her name] to [my name] and she did it. I put the drawing into an envelope and guess what? She said that I am named just like her grandfather. Man, I am just amazed at how life is full of surprises. I just didn’t imagine that I was to meet a LG who is just at the beginning of my AOA. Could she be my next child-friend? Oh, I don’t know. It depends if her mother bring her at work more often. We’ll see. |
