Yes, insults are not allowed

It's not the word idiot that is the problem. I once heard an interviewer questioning an umpire, and after talking about the many harsh words that baseball managers say to umpires while the umpires stand there unfazed, he asked the umpire what word would cause him to eject someone from the game. The umpire said that the magic word was "you". We allow and encourage a healthy and vigorous debate so far as we legally can, and our moderating doubtless is not perfect, but we try to maintain civility and we do not tolerate insults and name-calling.
