Direct Action - Is It Time???

Is it time to flood virtual reality?

Is it time to go around to all the popular gathering spots on the net and just bombard the crap out of it with our presence, our culture? I've already seen the growth of a culture online.. specific interests, cartoon and tv characters, language, spoofing of society's paranoia, etc. etc.. At the same time I see an immense obsession online with pedophilia that is beyond anything previous.. where the presence of any child, whether in real time or in images, immediately brings the American and British public to the topic of cautionary pedophilia warnings. Well, I have ideas on that.

I think there is something relevant to a line I read somewhere recently... "That which cannot learn to fly, should be made to fall faster." In other words, when the insanity train is already headed for the cliff, sometimes it becomes better to help push it along faster than to try and stop it. In addition to making our presence felt around the internet, and pushing ourselves onto the general public's space (since they don't want us to have our own little place...), I say help press the paranoia along even further. Describe the most innocent image or situation involving kids as pedophilia. Turn the conversations to sex, warn and scold people that every last discussion, image, or presence of a child demands a guarded discussion with sexual undertones. Remind them that pedophiles are everywhere and taking over, and that this or that could be contributing to someone's sexual fantasies. The time to be timid, polite, and full of self-regulation when speaking is passed. It is time to shout. This does not mean to stop respecting children, but it does mean to offend the nons as much as possible, to shove it in their faces, or to pretend to be child advocates and spread their paranoid disease as much as possible until people get sick of every last kid topic being sexualized and guilt-ified. I am of course also imploring people to be smart about what they do and how they go about it. Don't go posting a cp pic somewhere to offend people, only to have your IP logged and have yourself arrested. Learn the ways of staying anonymous online, because no matter who you are, the laws of the land have changed and you can no longer expect to have your privacy rights upheld.

In conclusion, if we're not going to be allowed our own little place on the net, then we will live alongside others, whether they like us being there or not. Our numbers are greater than they have ever been in terms of self-acceptance and communities. The more you make your presence felt, the more others who are still repressed are going to start joining in. And the more we are felt, the greater will be this ripened paranoia which is just ready for enflaming to a ridiculous degree. Do your part. Play your part. Push 'em all off the deep end. Raid their virtual ships surfing these censored seas of rotten cheese.

"Do what you want, 'cause a pirate is free! You are a pirate!!"

ARRRGH, MATEY!! :-)
